As the regular season comes to an end, we take a look at which teams are still fighting for a chance at the NBA Finals.

Eastern Conference:

In the Eastern Conference, the Milwaukee Bucks swept the Detroit Pistons in the first round. The Toronto Raptors defeated the Orlando Magic in five games. The Philadelphia Sixers defeated the Brooklyn Nets in five games. The Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers are tied at two games apiece in their series.

In the Western Conference, the Golden State Warriors swept the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round. The Houston Rockets defeated the Utah Jazz in five games. The Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder in five games. The Denver Nuggets and San Antonio Spurs are tied at two games apiece in their series.

Western Conference:

The Western Conference is down to four teams: the Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers, and Denver Nuggets.

The Warriors and Rockets have the best records in the NBA and are on pace to meet in the Western Conference Finals for the second straight year. The Blazers and Nuggets are both young teams that are looking to make a run at the title.

The Finals:

The Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers are facing off in the 2020 NBA Finals. This is a best-of-seven series, meaning that the first team to win four games will be crowned the NBA champion.

Eastern Conference Finals:

The Eastern Conference Finals are now set and it will be the Boston Celtics vs. the Miami Heat. The Celtics have been on fire lately, led by their star point guard Kyrie Irving. The Heat have been playing great basketball as well, led by their All-Star Jimmy Butler. This should be a great series!

Western Conference Finals:

As of May 25, 2020, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets are facing off in the Western Conference Finals.

NBA Finals:

As the NBA season comes to a close, only two teams remain in the running for the championship title. The Golden State Warriors will go up against the Cleveland Cavaliers in what is sure to be an exciting series.

The Warriors are the reigning champions, having won the title last year. They are led by superstar Stephen Curry, who is considered one of the best players in the league. The Cavaliers are led by LeBron James, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time.

This will be the fourth time these two teams have met in the Finals. The Warriors have won two of those previous three meetings.

Eastern Conference Semifinals:

In the Eastern Conference, the 2nd seed Milwaukee Bucks will take on the 6th seed Miami Heat, while the 1st seed Toronto Raptors will face off against the 5th seed Boston Celtics. The Bucks and Raptors both swept their first round opponents, while the Heat and Celtics each won in 7 games.

In the Western Conference, the 2nd seed Denver Nuggets will battle with the 3rd seed Portland Trail Blazers, and the 1st seed Golden State Warriors will take on the 4th seed Houston Rockets. The Warriors and Rockets each advanced in 6 games, while the Nuggets and Trail Blazers needed 7 games to move on.

Western Conference Semifinals:

The following teams are competing in the Western Conference Semifinals:

Eastern Conference First Round:

The Boston Celtics are the top seed in the Eastern Conference and they will take on the Milwaukee Bucks who are the eighth seed. The Celtics are favorites to win this series, but the Bucks could give them some trouble. The second series in the East is between the Toronto Raptors and the Orlando Magic. The Raptors are the second seed and they will be taking on the seventh seeded Magic. The Raptors are also favored to win this series, but the Magic could pull off an upset. The third series in the East is between
the Philadelphia 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets. The Sixers are the third seed and they will be taking on the sixth seeded Nets. The Sixers are heavy favorites to win this series, but the Nets could give them a scare. The fourth and final series in the East is between
the Indiana Pacers and
the Miami Heat. The Pacers are the fourth seed and they will be taking on the fifth seeded Heat. This is a very evenly matched series and it could go either way.

Western Conference First Round:

The first round of the NBA playoffs in the Western Conference features two elimination games on Sunday, April 23. The Los Angeles Lakers will take on the Portland Trail Blazers at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC, followed by the Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN.
