John Collins is 22 years old. He was born on September 23, 1997 in Layton, Utah. Collins grew up playing basketball and began to receive attention from college scouts during his junior year of high school. After graduation, he chose to play for Wake Forest University.
Collins had a successful freshman season with the Demon Deacons, averaging over 16 points and 9 rebounds per game. This led to him being named the ACC Rookie of the Year.
